that Dick Rutan (piloted Voyager around the world) and Dr. Carlene Mendieta
(retraced Ameilia Earhart's flight in the United States) will be our
featured speakers for the 2005 Missouri Pilots Association State Convention.
This is an open invitation for anyone in USPA and their friends to come
and join us. It is $20 per individual or $35 per couple to attend, which
includes a catered meal. You can contact me during the day M-F at

DR. CARLENE MENDIETA- WITH LESS THAN 300 HOURS AND FLYING THE AVRO AVIAN 7083 DR. MENDIETA EMBARKED ON THE RE-CREATION OF AMELIA EARHART’S FLIGHT ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. WITH THE SAME NUMBER OF HOURS AS EARHART’S RECORD-SETTING FLIGHT IN 1928 DR. MENDIETA SET OUT ON THE 5,500 MILE TRIP AND DUPLICATED THE FLIGHT OF HER HERO, AMELIA EARHART.
