USPA has formed a strategic planning committee with past president Bob Worthington as the chair. As a former business professor and current management consultant, he has both taught strategic planning in a graduate school of business and works with several businesses assisting in the creation of a corporate strategic plan.
For USPA this committee has been charged with evaluating the history of USPA to create a plan for it's future to determine what it is best suited for in one year, three years, and five years.
