MORE TFRs LIKELY

With the presidential race underway, more TFRs are in the forecast. Today Bush is in Missouri, Michigan, and Ohio, and then proceeds on a bus tour Saturday, starting in Cleveland and finishing in Pittsburgh.

Meanwhile Kerry begins a 21-state tour starting in Boston today, into Florida, and then the Ohio Valley over the weekend. Kerry’s TFRs are expected to be smaller than those of Bush.

Both the FAA and AOPA show graphical depictions of TFRs. ( http://tfr.faa.gov ) ( http://www.aopa.org/flight_planner/ )

Remember to check NOTAMs before you fly.
